ESCHA has tackled the M12 quick-turn connector issue
ESCHA is introducing the new quick-turn connector S12x1 at SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2007.
Halver, 15.10.2007 - The M12 has become established with the industrial automation for more than two decades. This connection-type is still almost exclusively used for completely different applications. The M12x1 has proved itself many times with regards to tightness, robustness and a high availability with various polarities and versions.
Numerous applications include hundreds or even thousands of such connections. In order to reduce installation time, a quick-turn M12 solution which meets all industrial requirements would be needed. So far, four attempts to realize this quick-turn technology have been made by co-operations or individual companies. The quick-turn connection systems available on the market today are based on a variety of concepts. However, they all do not fulfil the essential features to achieve a high market acceptance. |
