Adapters for M12x1 Round Connectors
With the new M12 adapters from ESCHA, incompatible mating parts can be quickly interconnected saving space and time.
Halver, 18 August 2009 - Many fitters know the following daily problem: During installation, suddenly they are dealing with two female connectors, two male connectors or variously coded male and female connectors. These, however cannot be interconnected. So far, there have been two solutions to this problem. Either compatible cables had to be re-ordered or short junction cables were used.
However, in many applications there is not even sufficient space for the shortest junction cables. In addition, costs and efforts for a completely new wiring are often too high.
The connector- and housing specialist ESCHA has a new solution to this old problem. Through the use of adapters for M12x1 round connectors, incompatible mating parts can be quickly interconnected saving space and costs.
As of now, ESCHA is offering three different M12 adapters as female to female, male to male and male to female. The unique feature here is that these adapters can have different A- or B-coding on both sides and the pinning can be configured flexibly within the adapters. Therefore you get the right solution in nearly any case.
The new M12 adapters from ESCHA have been previously available in a 5-pole version. In addition to the currently existing products, specific customer requirements can of course be realized. |
